Job Description

Summary
I am a 46 year old, young at heart man living with my wife and cat in central Eastbourne.
I enjoy painting/drawing and also love computer games, tabletop gaming, swimming and bike riding.
I am looking for a patient, flexible, reliable PA to support me with housework, laundry, meal planning, shopping, admin tasks and budgeting.
I have memory problems, so need prompting/encouragement to keep on task.
You would also be required to provide companionship and support with fun social activities e.g. walks, swimming, bike rides and help me with attending medical appointments. A male PA is required to assist me with changing clothes for swimming.
Driver with own car is essential. Mileage would be reimbursed.
Experience of supporting people with mental health and learning disabilities is required.

Additional requirements
• The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
