POST: Home Help+
Hours: 20 hours per week (extra hours available)
Salary: £10.50 per hour (£20,258 p.a. pro rata)
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays calculated pro rata.

Role Description:
To work within our Support Services as part of a team developing a personalised and flexible community-based service for older people (50+) in Newcastle. The
Support Service will promote independence and increase the person’s sense of good emotional health and wellbeing. The service will support older people to live independently in their home, choose and access activities in the community that meet their individual needs, support and sustaining links with family and friends, improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.
Home Help+ workers will work with individuals to promote their independence by giving that extra bit of support to run their home, maintain good health, or enable them to access community resources in their area, connecting them with opportunities and people in their local neighbourhood and supporting them to sustain these connections.
