We are looking for Leisure Assistants to join our team at The Orchid Rooms, our beautiful Treatment Centre within Inspirations Leisure & Spa at the Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa resort.

Role Responsibilities
As a Leisure Assistant, you will be an imperative part of the hotel & spa team. You will ensure that all Guests & leisure club members’ needs are tailored to. You will have a calming approach to guest service and ensure that the health, safety and satisfactory experience are at the forefront of your mind. Therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Conduct regular pool tests on the Jacuzzi and Pool to ensure the highest standards of water quality and safety.
• Perform efficient backwashes for both the Jacuzzi and Pool to maintain optimal cleanliness and functionality.
• Conduct regular operational checks on the sauna, steam room and ice room ensuring they are well-maintained and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Monitor and regulate temperature levels in the sauna and steam room to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for our guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the sauna, steam room and ice room, including regular cleaning and upkeep of the facilities.
• Assist in answering telephone calls and accommodating guests by booking in spa days and arranging rejuvenating treatments.
• Undertake reception duties to greet guests, handle inquiries, and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Conduct gym inductions for new members, ensuring they are familiar with the equipment and facilities to facilitate a smooth and safe workout experience.
• Ensure the gym is well kept, clean and safe environment and report any Maintenace related issues to management.
• Lead and organize various classes, fostering an energetic and engaging environment for our members and guests.

Key Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar role within the leisure, spa, commercial gym or hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Relevant qualifications in a leisure environment, class teaching, sports science, or a related field would be advantageous.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with common software for handling bookings and customer interactions.
• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the operational requirements of the leisure and spa club.
