Summary
Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive school environment? We are currently seeking a talented Food Technology Teacher to join us on a part-time basis, 2 days a week after the half-term break.

Role Overview:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across the Food Technology curriculum. You will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students of all abilities, fostering a love for learning and encouraging critical thinking skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the Food Technology department and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported
- As a Food Technology Teacher, you need to be able to assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to promote growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
