Summary

Join our team at Newcross Healthcare as a Registered Mental Health Nurse!

On behalf of our client, a secure community hospital in Staffordshire, we are hiring Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to support patients presenting acute or chronic risk to self through their recovery pathway and into step-down services towards independent living and community services.

Pay: up to £30.25 per hour (inc holiday pay)
Shift patterns: Ad-hoc and long-term bookings
Location: Staffordshire

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering nursing care, assessment, and treatment within the unit's clinical ethos
• Supervising and supporting the care team to ensure the highest standards of care
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
• Collaborating across the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and personalised care
• Assessing individual needs and designing and evaluating individual programmes.
• Contributing to the daily activities and treatment programmes

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will be responsible for maintaining financial and administrative tasks, adhering to policies and procedures, and staying up to date with developments in nursing practice.

Essential criteria:

• Active NMC membership and a relevant RMN qualification
• Competency in clinical and professional procedures and practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of the NMC Professional Code of Conduct, Standards of Administration of Medicine, and the Care Standards Act 2000
