Summary


We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to join our Interventional Radiology Team at Charing Cross Hospital. The department consists of 2 bi-plane interventional rooms (Philips Allura and Azurion). Please note that this is a fixed term position of approximately 12-14 months.

You will form part of a dedicated IR team providing excellent patient care and radiographic expertise in neurological and general interventional procedures. This includes cerebral thrombectomy (24 hour service), neuro embolisations and TACE. This specialised role will offer the opportunity to build and extend on your clinical expertise and also develop your management, training and leadership skills. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses and other multi-disciplinary teams within the Trust. We recognise that education and training is fundamental and support role extension and further learning.
• To assist in the provision of an efficient 24 hour IR service.
• To work as part of a professional radiographic IR team providing a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic service.
• To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
• To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development.
• To maintain a safe working environment within the IR department.
