Summary


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking doctor to the post of Clinical Fellow (Senior Registrar level-post CCT) in Nuclear Medicine to cover clinical work, supporting the Nuclear Medicine team, with expert advise on diagnostic decisions, justification of Nuclear Medicine referrals.








The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of Nuclear Medicine Physicians and Radiologists delivering the Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and Radioisotope Therapy services within the Trust.

This is a full time post and the duration of the post would be for 12 months.

The Royal Marsden with its associated Institute of Cancer Research constitutes a centre of excellence for research and development, education, treatment and care in cancer. It is acknowledged to be one of the largest comprehensive Cancer Centres in the world.



This is a cross site post and the successful applicant would be expected to rotate between the Sutton and Chelsea sites.

The post would be particularly suitable for experienced Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Fellows wishing to gain further specialist experience in an international tertiary centre.

The specialty of Nuclear Medicine comprises clinical responsibility for all areas of patient care within the Nuclear Medicine department including regulatory compliance. Nuclear Medicine professionals are required to deal with any challenges of delivering timely, tailored diagnostics and therapeutic care to patients as part of the multidisciplinary team.
