Summary

Strategic Partnership Lead



Northeast and Northwest (hybrid with occasional national travel)



Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), flexible hours



Starting salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on skills and experience, plus, brilliant benefits including health cash plan!

You will help us to develop and maintain strategic partnerships that support a pipeline of growth in our supported housing and care services across England. You’ll manage a variety of opportunities and relationships to help us retain and win new business and, this is where you’ll make your mark!



Typical day as a Strategic Partnership Lead



  • As an expert in your area, you will lead and influence growth by identifying opportunities and developing bespoke solutions to commissioner and customer need.

  • You will build and nurture key stakeholder relationships with a range of external and internal partners.

  • You’ll be seeking out new opportunities, by building commissioner relationships at a place-based, community and Integrated Care Board level.

  • Working closely with our operational managers you will use your commercial acumen and knowledge of external Health and Social Care commissioning environments to develop innovative services that encourage people to thrive.

You bring



  • Demonstrable experience in health and or social care commissioning

  • Excellent written and presentation skills particularly the ability to construct precise persuasive propositions for commissioners.

  • An understanding of commercial issues including commissioning approaches and pricing

  • Direct experience of leading negotiation conversations with external partners

  • An understanding of commercial governance and business development

  • To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

Sarah has worked here for 18 years and has a wide range of operational and business development experience. Darren is our Head of Business Development, who’s been with us at Home Group for over 10 years with 20 years in the sector! Darren and Sarah love to give the team the space to be creative, share knowledge and bring new ideas, aiming to do things in the best way for each opportunity to achieve success. We are a friendly bunch who come from different walks of life and are here to support you as you make yourself at Home!



Job details



  • You’ll shape your own diary, working from home and remotely with colleagues and commissioners, or you can work from any of our offices local to you. You’ll get all the latest IT kit to support you.

  • You’ll need travel regionally, and on occasion, nationally as required.

  • Flexible working hours (we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you)

  • You’re able to use technology for presenting and proposing opportunities, researching, and modelling. This includes Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

  • You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
