Summary

Catering Assistants - Multiple Roles Hill View SchoolWe are looking to appoint three catering assistants to assist with the delivery of an outstanding professional catering service for the Oak Partnership Trust ay Hill View School. They will support the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager with the preparation and service of food and beverages to all trust schools. They will work alongside our existing staff both at West Monkton Primary School and on-site at our other schools. We are seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in providing excellent food services across local schools. Your New Role As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of daily school meals. You will support the kitchen team in various duties, ensuring that food is prepared, cooked, and presented to high standards, and that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Main Responsibilities Include: Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals. Helping to serve food to students, staff and visitors. Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards. Supporting stock control and inventory management. Engaging positively with students and staff. The post will require driving the Trust vehicle daily. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking a candidate who is: Passionate about providing high-quality food service. Able to work well as part of a team and under pressure. Responsive and adaptable to the fast-paced school environment. Knowledgeable about food hygiene and safety regulations (training will be provided). Key Requirements: No formal qualifications necessary; however, experience in catering or hospitality would be beneficial. Willingness to undergo food hygiene and safety training.
