Are you a dynamic Electrician seeking an exciting new role? Do you want to join a reputable Facilities Management company that offers growth opportunities and ongoing skill development?
Randstad Solutions is collaborating with a leading Facilities Management firm in search of a qualified, experienced Electrician specialising in the commercial sector. The role entails performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with mobile responsibilities covering the Derby area.

Main duties will include:
- Electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and CAFM documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, ensuring timely submission to the contract administrator.
- Prepare and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Cultivate positive relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Ensure a Safe and Healthy working environment, including adherence to uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Keep up-to-date plant logs at all times.
- Supervise and monitor subcontractors' maintenance activities on site.
- Adhere to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 18th Edition
- NVQ/City and Guilds
- Experience working within a Facilities Management environment
- Full UK driving licence
