The role

The HR Operations Administrator is responsible for a wide range of activities, Workday system input, employee life cycle administration, organising company inductions and providing data and reports to support decision-making within the HR team and the wider organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

- To be first point of contact for HR Admin queries, escalating where needed. HR inbox management.
- Process new hires, terminations, employee’s files.
- Maintain and update employee data within the Workday HR system, collaborating with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot system issues; provide user support and assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements.
- Oversee the end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes, exit documentation, monitoring probationary periods and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Support the coordinate company inductions for new hires, ensuring their familiarity with company policies, procedures and safety protocols and collaborate with department heads to tailor inductions to specific job roles.
- Generate and compile HR-related data and reports, encompassing headcount, turnover and compliance metrics, analyse data to identify trends and provide insights to support.
- Support with Benefits administration systems.
- Support HR Team as and when needed.

Skills and Competence:

- Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the apprenticeship programme

- Effective communication skills verbal and written.
- Proactive approach to working and learning.
- Familiar with all Microsoft packages, especially Excel and Word
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail and data accuracy
- A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
- Experience in an administration or similar role.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grade 4-9, including Maths and English
A Levels or BTEC Level 3

Duration: 2-year Apprenticeship Programme

Hours: 40.5 per week
