Summary

We are expanding our International Nurse Recruitment programme and are excited to be recruiting to new posts within the team:

Clinical & Pastoral Support (Band 6 Nursing Posts)

Project Support Officers (Band 4 Administrative posts)

At GMMH we have committed to recruiting over 100 Internationally Educated Nurses, and are working with key partners to deliver on this programme.

The role of Project Support Officer is key to the coordination of the programme, and a valued member of the International Recruitment Team. The post holder will have responsibility for the support of planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of projects relating to the recruitment and retention of Internationally Educated Nurses, and the overarching programme.

This is a new role, so there will be a requirement to set up systems. Processes and procedures or expand and formalise those already in place.

This role will be a key link between Internationally Educated Nurses, Recruitment Agencies, internal teams (HR, Nursing & Governance) and service managers. Lived experience and enhanced understanding of the process, issues and worries that come with relocating to the UK will be vital to ensuring these relationships and communications show understanding, patience and recognise the challenges that are faced.
