Summary
To work as part of a team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for children aged 2-4. You will carry out one to one focused activities as well as working with small and whole groups both inside and outside. You will be a keyworker to some children and will be expected to know them well and as part of the team, workout their ‘next steps’ and help them achieve them. You will document their progress and upload photographs to their ‘Tapestry’ accounts. You will take your turn preparing snacks and will sit with and support children when they are eating and will be expected to change nappies and assist with toilet training. You will also be involved in planning and carrying out activities and celebrating various cultural festivals and celebrations. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. We are a term time only preschool.
