Summary

An exciting opportunity to join our Structures Team as a Graduate Construction Engineer. Working on a major structural refurbishment project, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of our construction projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting, while gaining valuable experience and professional development. You will work alongside our industry-leading professionals who will support you on your chosen career path. This is a permanent, full time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent with the view to be fully site based once the project beings.

The duties of the Graduate Construction Engineer role will include:

-Assisting in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules and budgets

-Collaborating with senior engineers ensuring projects are executed efficiently

-Working closely with design teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of construction plans

-Preparing and maintaining project documentation including drawing, specifications, and progress reports

-Implementing and enforcing quality control processes ensuring construction activities meet industry standards

-Actively participating in training programs and industry related seminars to stay informed about the latest construction technologies and methodologies

What skills and experience do you need?

We are seeking a construction graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field. You will be competent in AutoCAD, project management software and you will have knowledge of construction management, structural engineering, or project management. You will have a genuine passion delivering an excellent service and have a strong ambition to drive and embrace innovation.
