Are you an experienced Musculoskeletal clinician and passion individual that wants to provide excellent patient care while developing their own MSK skills? Look no further than this exciting opportunity to join our Oxfordshire Team at Connect Health.




The Oxfordshire MSK Service is an integrated NHS service commissioned by Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group that provides advice and treatment for people with MSK, chronic pain, MSK Podiatry, and pelvic health related conditions.




We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable. We are looking for well-organised MSK Clinicians, to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved.

What you will do in the role…



Utilise Pelvic Health expertise to function as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist managing a varied clinical caseload within designated clinical environments.




Services delivered and Clinical interventions will vary depending on contract/site, patient/client’s needs, and clinician experience/knowledge, but will need to include; assessments, advice, treatment, individual or group rehab, educational seminars, screening.




Management shall be centred on a specialist physiotherapy and continence service which includes advice on diet, weight-loss, alcohol and smoking cessation. The role will require specific clinician experience / knowledge in the following essential area’s:

The management of female urinary incontinence/pelvic floor exercises
The management of patients with stress incontinence,
Urgency,
Cystocele,
Utero-vaginal prolapse,
Rectocele,
Postnatal and postoperative conditions

If you’re able to manage a varied caseload of pelvic health patients, committed to CPD and have the desire to develop yourself and the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care, then we’d be keen to hear from you.




Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you will be key in fostering productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local Consultants, GP’s, and will provide support and training to other clinical staff and students.



What you will bring to the role...

Previous experience in delivering MSK services with tangible results.
Appropriate professional registration in line with your professional discipline (HCPC, SST, BASRaT, GOsC etc)
A keen and enthusiastic clinician with a commitment to providing excellent, personalised care.
An understanding of the impact of MSK pain in the wider community and how collaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresses health inequalities 
Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner, within your scope of practice
Passion for delivering a quality clinical service meeting the clinical and operational needs of the MSK service
Stakeholder management skills to develop and foster productive relationships with local groups, charities, GPs, and other potentially productive links.
