Summary

We are seeking to recruit a positive, enthusiastic, and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team within Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at our in-patient unit, Hopewood, Mansfield Road, Sherwood, Nottingham, NG3 5FL.

Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting or with people who have experienced mental health difficulties would be preferable, but is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be given. We welcome applications from those wanting a career change.

We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn and keen to deliver in both performance and patient care, and this role will give you the opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally.

We operate on a 24/7 shift pattern.

Post holders will receive enhanced rates of pay for any unsocial hours worked (evenings/weekends/bank holidays)

Our staff have a key clinical role within a well-established multidisciplinary team, and as a Healthcare Assistant your role will be to support in the delivery of high quality, compassionate care to our patients.

The post holder will undertake a range of duties to participate in the delivery of care through involvement in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This includes assisting with all activities of daily living, addressing the physical and mental health care needs of patients, while promoting individual health and wellbeing
