Summary
Work safely to manufacture chemical, biological and tablet-based products, packing and dispatching these
to customers in accordance with all safety, quality and environmental procedures communicated. Take
a leading role in operating heavy machinery such as tabletting and bulk chemical blending
equipment. Operate the forklift truck as required(Is it nice to have)
Carry out day-to-day activity in the chemical production area according to documented procedures, ensuring that a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all times and highlighting any deficiencies to management
– Work with machinery, including bottling, tabletting and chemical handling pumps, completing all
safety checks and housekeeping activities as required by work instructions and standard operating
practices
– Ensure adequate stock control is maintained and report any deficiencies to management
– Ensure materials are manufactured, packaged and despatched timeously
– Complete despatch documentation and other paperwork that may be required with orders.
– Liaise with customers and suppliers as to the delivery dates of orders and materials
– Provide mentoring and support to new and temporary staff
– Operate forklift truck as required and highlight any training requirements needed

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00
Friday 08:00 to 12:00
