Summary
Level 3 Early Years Practitioners
Subsidised childcare for staff
RAFAKidz Nursery, RAF Digby LN4 3LH
£12.35 - £13 per hour
Full time 38 hours per week
All children are special but at RAFAKidz we believe our children are extra special. RAFAKidz is one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF (Royal Air Force). Our nursery at RAF Digby, Ashby de la Launde, is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. The nursery itself has around 140 children with spaces in continued demand, supported by a team of 28 employees. Our lively and vibrant Out of School Club has an additional 40 children attending before and after school.
Due to the phenomenal growth of the nursery we are looking to welcome colleagues who are Level 3 qualified, including newly qualified applicants looking to take the next step in their early years career path. If you can bring a motivated, enthusiastic, creative and ‘hands-on’ attitude, then please read on!
We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You’ll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period.
We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you’ll be learning on the job from leading practitioners in the industry!
A typical day in the role will include;
Meet and greet families and build great relationships
Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities
Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements
Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children
Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities
Role model to other colleagues and supporting them in their learning journeys towards qualifications
