Position Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have access to the resources and assistance necessary for their educational journey. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Help students develop essential academic skills, including reading, writing, and numeracy, through tailored interventions and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support as required.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special educational needs (SEN) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
