A little bit about the person you will be supporting...
Hello, I am 11 years old and I have moved to my new home in Lincoln. My home has been developed to meet my individual needs. My home is situated between Lincoln and Newark, so never far from somewhere fun to visit and explore. There are lots of things l can do, however, I do need support to help me further develop my skills and abilities and be able to take part in a variety of activities. I currently require a very specialist approach to support my wellbeing and learning, which currently takes place within my home and the surrounding outside space and community.
I have a learning disability and other associated complex needs and I need therapeutic support to help me communicate my needs and wants and to support my sensory and emotional regulation. The day-to-day support that I need will be guided by Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Music Therapists to create a therapeutic lived experience tailored to my needs.
To help me access more opportunities, I need on-going support from people who will take the time to understand my needs and help me live a life that is meaningful for me. I love being outdoors, listening to stories and going swimming and I would like to explore a variety of experiences with the right support.
