Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Part-time or relief

Full UK drivers licence is desirable but not essential

We are looking for Support Workers to join our team of skilled, passionate and creative Positive Behaviour Support Workers, to provide support to people with behaviours that challenge within our Bristol supported-living service. We support 4 gentleman within 1 building that has been separated into 4 separate flats to provide them all with their own space.

What makes a good Positive Behaviour Support Worker

Previous experience in a Positive Behaviour Support Worker type role is not essential but an awareness of learning disabilities and challenging behaviours is. What is most important is that you are an empathetic, resilient and robust individual with a genuine passion for supporting others. Having the ability to think on your feet is an important skill for this role as it means that you will be able to adapt to the needs of the people you are supporting.

We also support career development and you may have the opportunity to become a PBS coach.
