Summary
HGV Team Leader required in the West Bromwich area
- £43,916 salary + £1,500 signing on bonus
- 4 on 4 off shift patterns, days and nights

My clients well respected, successful company is looking for a HGV Team Leader to join their team!

About you for this HGV Team Leader role:
- Must have your own tools
- As a HGV Team Leader you must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- You will have good interpersonal and communion skills
- HGV Team Leaders need to hold good planning and organisational skills
- Holding a HGV driving licence is preferred, but not essential
Duties of a HGV Team Leader:
- As a HGV Team Leader you must demonstrate safety first at all times. Making sure you are proactive with the companies policies and procedures
- Work flexible, carry out any other shift coordination and technician duties, as required.
- Priorities shift workloads, ensuring effective use of resources
- Achieving KPI's by working efficient and effective
- You will be carrying out inspection, service and repairs of all vehicles, trailers and ancillary equipment in line with the agreed schedules and operating procedures
As the Team Leader, you will be 90% on the tools and the other 10% will be covering when the day staff are not available. This will consist of organising job cards and parts. Liaising with transport and organising breakdowns. You be responsible for 2-3 HGV Technicians.
