Saturday: 1 in 3, 08:00 – 13:00 (Paid at overtime)

Popular with Campervan Customers, Pick-Up Professionals and Cargo Couriers our client, a well-known commercial vehicle dealership, is currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department in the Portsmouth area.
With over 20 years trading experience they are known as the go-to commercial vehicle dealership in the area. They have a strong business ethos, creating a positive environment that helps both individuals and the business to move forward symbiotically.

Duties of an LCV Technician with our Client:
- Predominantly working with on 3.5 tonne vans and some 7.5 tonne
- Full automotive services and necessary repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Make estimations for the length and costs of specific jobs and advise customers on their importance
- Brake, clutch and timing belt changes / repairs
- Engine and gearbox stripping and fitting
- Diagnosing faults using computer hardware and software
- Ensure the workshop standards are always maintained
What our client expects of their LCV Technician:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, however, they are willing to interview applicants with only part qualifications so long as they have previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills and be confident when talking to customers as well as their team members.
- A “can-do” attitude and the ability to overcome problems
- Organisational and time management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work within the UK
