Summary
SMART/Alloy Wheel Repair Technician in Swindon.
- Starting salary up to £32,000 per annum with a time saved bonus scheme providing average uncapped on target earnings of £38,000+ per annum
- 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:00am-2:00pm paid at time and a half.

Our client, a premium franchise approved main dealer situated in Swindon are currently looking to hire an experienced and professional SMART/Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join their busy bodyshop!
Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a close-knit and friendly team, it will be primarily your role to carry out small repairs and apply powder coat paintwork to customer's alloy wheels on their vehicles as well as milling and cutting diamond-cut alloys.
Day to day duties shall include:
- Preparing alloy wheels for powder coating paintwork.
- Carrying out small alloy wheel repairs.
- Removing and refitting tyres.
- Balancing wheels after they’ve been repaired.
- Mixing and custom colour matching paint to apply to wheels.
- Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
- Interacting with customers regarding their vehicles.
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
In order to be eligible our client is ideally looking for candidates with extensive alloy wheel refurbishment experience however they're very open to considering candidates with tyre fitting/prepping experience that are looking to take the next step in their career. Overall you shall have a good eye for detail, be capable of multi-tasking in a busy workshop environment, be a team player who is capable of easily interacting with customers as and when required, and have a willingness to work on your own initiative. A UK driving license with minimal points is however essential.
