An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Poultry Farm Manager to join a highly successful and reputable egg business. Our client is committed to maintaining high standards in poultry farming, and we are seeking a proactive individual who shares their passion for excellence.
The Job
- Manage day-to-day operations across three laying poultry farm sites.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in all aspects of farm operations.
- Supervise and train farm staff to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor flock health and welfare, implementing necessary interventions when required.
- Oversee breeding programs and ensure optimal egg production.
- Implement and maintain biosecurity protocols.
The Candidate
- Previous Laying Farm Management is essential.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of disease prevention, nutrition, procedures (sampling) and flock health.
The Package
- Salary £35,000 per annum.
- 3 bedroom house
- Company car for work-related travel
