Summary


This is an exciting opportunity for a Postgraduate Doctor who currently holds an NTN on a North West GP training programme and has experience of returning to training, to work as a Clinical Fellow with the North West Supported Return to Training (NW SuppoRTT) team to contribute to the development of the SuppoRTT programme in the region and nationally.

The NW SuppoRTT team is a small dynamic team working to improve the experience of doctors and dentists who take time out of training.

The successful candidate will be an organised, self-starter with a passion for making a difference.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity to be undertaken alongside clinical training. The start date is negotiable with the successful candidate. Engagement with the LTFT process will be required to accommodate this secondment and their clinical role.

This post is offered at an NHS England office in the North West, however remote is currently the default position.

The aims of this role are to:
• review and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of previous activity within the region.
• identify innovative ways to improve various elements of the programme.
• to raise the profile of SuppoRTT.

The successful candidate will also join the national network of SuppoRTT Fellows to work collaboratively on national projects.
