Summary

Randstad C&P are actively seeking a Project manager to work on various commercial schemes in the Northern Home Counties. The contractor, who have a regional office based in Basingstoke, are currently looking for a Project Manager with a history of delivering projects to a high quality. Relevant sectors would include education, refurbishment, healthcare, conversions and more!

  • Managing all aspects of the refurbishment projects, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
  • Monitoring project progress and budget, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of project milestones, challenges, and successes.
  • Collaborating with school administrators, faculty, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with educational goals.
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
  • Overseeing the construction process, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with regulations..

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in educational refurbishment or construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
