Summary
P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client who is looking for a Project/Design Engineer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary:
Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the design for in-house manufacture of industrial field equipment including nitrogen converters, hydraulic power packs, electric motors, fluid pumps, compressors, containerised units, coiled tubing units and generators.
Main Responsibilities:
• Produce SolidWorks 3D modelling and CAD drawings.
• Produce/process mechanical calculations required for projects.
• Work to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards, including specific customer specifications.
• Employ the principles of Design for Manufacture and value-added engineering throughout design undertakings where applicable.
• Provide relevant information and technical support throughout the design, engineering, build and commissioning phases to relevant stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and provide technical support to clients and suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience with manufacturing offshore containers to DNV/ Lloyds/ CSC specifications.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a proactive, ambitious candidate with a can-do attitude and passion for design engineering.
