About us:-
My Life is a highly respected charity and we are currently seeking qualified Nurses to join our growing team near Colne and surrounding areas. My Life was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives. My Life currently provides care and support to a growing number of individuals who have complex health care needs across the North West of England. Our staff are integral to the success of the charity as they are the ones making a real difference to people’s lives.

Responsibilities:-
There is a part-time role available, for a Registered Nurse, supporting a young man with complex epilepsy who lives with his Mum and Dad. The role will involve working with a Personal Assistant supporting him at home with appropriate activities, taking him out and about in the community and generally keeping him healthy, safe and well. As part of the My Life team, you will ensure that care is provided in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence.

What you'll need to succeed:-
In order to succeed, you will be a Registered Nurse with a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Nursing. You will ideally, also have experience of working with individuals who have complex medical conditions, epilepsy mental health issues and/or learning disabilities. You will be self-motivated, flexible, have the ability to use your own initiative whilst being caring and sensitive to the needs of others. You must have a passion for providing personalised care and ideally, you will hold a full driving licence.

The salary on offer is up to £33.77 per hour (dependent upon experience) plus a competitive benefits package
