Summary
Person required for all aspects of the production of various styles of Fully Fashioned and circular knit hosiery.
This will include seaming using a Union Special cup seaming machine for fully fashioned stockings.
Toe closing circular knit stockings using an overlock machine.
Lace attachment using Kansai long arm and flat seam machines.
Examination and packing will also be part of the duties when needed.
The position requires a keen eye for detail with an ability to work well within a team but also able to work alone.
The main skill required will be the ability to seam and full training will be given to a suitable candidate as with all the operations listed.
For working full time there are 28 days paid holiday which includes all bank holidays and a seven day factory closure for Christmas. The remaining days can be chosen to suit with permission from the management.
