Summary
YOUR ROLE
Our team based in Etch, Aberdeen who provide specialist transportation and freight forwarding services to high profile clients have an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and proactive Pricing Specialist where you will support and provide local pricing and quotations ensuring we met operational requirements and deliver on customer service excellence.
This is a Monday – Friday position working 40 hours per week, offering hybrid working.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will pricing and quotations services for our customers, you will validate and review data, review documentation, customer requirements, timelines, proposals, and related queries. You will review, complete and process pricing and quotation forms, documents, databases, and related information inline with company policies and customer needs and research issues and develop recommendations to resolve issues in a timely manner. You will assist in the implementation of pricing and quotation policies and programs to meet operational requirements and ensure compliance is in line with laws, rules, and regulations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role, you will have proven pricing experience, ideally within a freight forwarding or logistics and supply chain environment.
You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal, be a natural problem solver and logical thinker able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
