Summary
The Bodyshop Manager is responsible for the complete running of the Bodyshop department. Overseeing the Bodyshop for the repair of damaged vehicles and trailers, and the preparation of new vehicles. A hands-on role, supervising, developing and driving the team to fulfil our key performance indicators whilst upholding our Company values.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00 with a 1-hour unpaid break per shift.
Essential duties and responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to assist and then after an allotted training period perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ensure a high quality of customer service is delivered by the department
Manage Bodyshop staff, including management of timekeeping and productivity, authorisation of overtime, holiday management and identifying training needs
Ensure all administrative processes are completed to the required standard
Build new business relationships through excellent communication and networking
Establish an effective working relationship with all departments and depots
Deal with queries in an effective manner, ensuring all actions are met
Assist in completing estimates for new business
Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

Education and/or Experience
2 years supervisory/management experience
Computer literacy
Technical knowledge and experience
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Current driving licence
Ability to work within a team Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent customer service and people management skills
High level of computer literacy Detail orientated
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and have a solution-driven approach Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements
2 years supervisory/management experience
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
HGV licence
Experience of working with Scania products
Main dealer workshop experience
