Summary
Located just next to Hambleton Village Hall. A long running social club with a yearly or lifetime membership allowing you access to socialise with Over Wyre locals in a friendly and fun environment.
The club is run by its members as such we have an appointed committee, comprising of up to nine members. The Committee and then the Steward will work closely with the assistant Steward to look to continually improve the club for its members.
Duties and Responsibilities to assist the Bar Steward to,
• Ensure the daily running of the club is in line with the club’s policies, procedures and regulations.
• Managing staff rota’s and wages.
• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
• Manage staff, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service.
• Handle all financial transactions, including taking payments and balancing the till.
• Plan and organise special events, promotions and activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as necessary.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Cellar management.
Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Assistant Steward or similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of beverage service.
• Financial management experience.
• A valid license to serve alcohol proffered but not essential
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good IT skills.
