Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Role Length: This opening assignment is for 6 months

City: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Seeking experienced candidate who could start immediately.

The purpose of the role is to manage the out of hours administration by completing tasks in AccuServ and raising any follow-on tasks as required. This may be urgent work requiring Operatives’ diaries to be checked for availability or liaising with other teams to see if staff members can be redeployed to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

General administration to assist the Responsive Repairs team.
Appointing jobs raised by CSC Repairs when appointments can’t be found.
Appointing jobs that require follow-on work.
Raising jobs following Surveyors’ inspections.
Maintain information systems and electronic files in a timely, accurate and concise manner.
To ensure effective communication across the team and with customers.
Assist the Voids and Lettings Teams during the period of time when homes are empty with associated administration.
Maintain a positive, helpful, respectful approach to all aspects of the role including dealing with colleagues, responding to incidents and general communications.
Carry out any other duties as required by your line manager from time to time in accordance with the grading of the post.

Qualifications:

Able to demonstrate a good standard of education.
GCSE Maths and English (minimum Grade C) or equivalent.



Experience.

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Relevant experience of working in an administration role or office environment.
A background in Customer Service with the ability to approach tenants/clients.
Administrative processes ideally including record keeping, ordering and effective communication of information.
Relevant experience of repairs and maintenance sector.
Providing statistical information and reports.
A good understanding of how to provide effective administrative, operational and financial services (including processing invoices, expenses and using financial management systems to support budgeting).

Skills & Abilities:

Strong administrative skills to a high level of accuracy.
Excellent demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to balance a range of work priorities.
Able to effectively solve problems.
Resilient, self -motivated and well organised.
Customer focussed - able to empathise and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and open manner to a wide range of people both internal and external.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
