Summary

Looking for a new permanent Assistant Site Manager role or looking to move into Site Management? We have a new role on with a key residential developer in Kent.

  • Position: Assistant Site Manager
  • Location: Maidstone, Kent (subject to change and location could be moved to anywhere in Kent)
  • Salary: upto £55,000 plus car allowance, pension scheme, private healthcare, generous holiday allowance and a host of other benefits

The Company:

A residential developer located in the heart of Kent who specialise in Private and Affordable housing across the county. Typical schemes range from 50 to 500 units and are well resourced with a strong supply chain and large management team behind the success of each development.

The role:

As an Assistant Site Manager within this business you will be a key part in building sustainable high quality homes in busy towns and developing rural areas. You role will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing people, budgets and costs.
  • Developing solutions to sometimes complex problems.
  • Ensuring build programme key milestones are delivered.
  • Effective management of subcontractors.
  • Support the Project Manager and rest of the site management team.
  • Coordinating materials to meet the programme.
  • Work closely with various internal departments (sales, commercial and technical).
  • Site safety which includes; inductions, checking RAMS, delivering training where required and site inspections.
  • Ensuring quality is delivered to achieve customer satisfaction ratings.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience of working to established deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt on short-notice.
  • Excellent eye for detail with a focus on quality.
  • Either progressed your construction career as a time-served Tradesperson or NVQ qualified in a construction related role.
  • CSCS card (in date)
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • First Aid
