Multi Skilled Engineer – Bakkavor Barton Bread


- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern (2 Days2 Nights / 4off)

This particular role is based at our Bakkavor Breads site in Barton-upon-Humber, close to the Humber Bridge. This factory specialises in making chilled speciality baguettes at high volume and employs over 160 people. The site is located 14 miles from Hull, 16 miles from Scunthorpe and 24 miles from Grimsby and is one of eight factories that are part of the Bakkavor Bakery sector in the UK.Responsibilities:

- Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment
- Ensure that all H&S procedures, engineering best practice are always adhered to
- Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used  

Required Skills & Experience:

- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent
- Electrical bias
- Recognised Engineering qualification
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Flexible working attitude
- Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Methodical & strong attention to detail
