Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join the Estates Team to support the delivery of Capital Projects for the Trust. This is full time position which requires proven experience of project management.

The post holder will ideally have a background in a trade, but this is not essential. They will be required to works as part of a team but also to work autonomously and to lead on allocated projects. The individual will be required to produce all aspects of project documentation, including reports that will be shared at an executive level. The post holder will be familiar with the Quality Service Improvement and Redesign Tools (QSIR) and support their completion for all projects across the Trusts.

This post will demand high levels of organisational skills, excellent time management, and the confidence to take responsibility for tasks and projects associated with this service. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal will be essential.

Co-ordinate key tasks within a project plan in the delivery of major projects to budget, quality and time

Responsible for the maintaining, issue logs, risk logs, stakeholder maps, benefits plans and other required project documentation, using recognised project methodology Implement and maintain a strict version/change control process

Support project teams to meet all project work plan requirements, including intelligence gathering, creation of spreadsheets or databases, report writing and making recommendations. Including the QSIR documentation requirements

Support project/programme meetings in the capacity of secretary, specifically organising meetings, preparing papers, taking notes and producing meeting minutes

Liaise closely with relevant stakeholders regarding due actions and prepare position statements on projects and actions agreed at meetings

Liaise with other departments including (but limited to) porters, IT, the operation estates teams, clinical, operational and facilities to coordinate tasks.

Provide and receive complex information in relation to a number of different projects

Prioritise work in order to support delivery of a number of work programmes concurrently
