It will be a great opportunity to join a friendly, innovative and supportive team which has good connection to community and charity partners.

We are passionate to fair access to high quality and psychologically informed dementia assessment and diagnosis.

The post holder will also join a local psychology team including other clinical psychologists, an assistant psychologist and mental health wellbeing practitioners. And be closely linked to a passionate wider network of older people’s mental health psychological professionals where there is opportunity for CPD, research and innovative practice.

The post will be based in the diverse borough of Brent, Northwest London and work includes seeing people in clinic and the community.

The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.

This post is responsible for providing high-quality psychology and neuropsychology services to the Brent Memory Service. This includes offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to the carers of service users and working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Teams’ policies and procedures. The post holder will also offer clinical supervision for an assistant and trainee psychologist in the team. There will be opportunities for service development and research.

We are recognised locally, nationally and internationally for providing high quality, innovative healthcare. We aim to employ only the best people, and our experts are frequently called upon to contribute to national health strategy and policy, and many models of our care have been adapted for use in other countries.

We offer a generous relocation package (subject to eligibility assessment) and flexible working options, including bank assignments for most roles. See attached Staff Reward and Wellbeing Handbook detailing our benefits, discounts and wellbeing initiatives for staff.

Become part of our team. We care for you as much as you care for others.
