Summary


With theBrand-New Endoscopy Unitopened in November 2023, this is an exciting time to join the Endoscopy Team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join us working across our Royal Gwent Hospital and Grange University Hospitals sites. It is not necessary to have any previous experience as full training will be provided. This presents a great opportunity for HealthCare support workers who are interested in specialising in Endoscopy. We are currently working towards JAG accreditation, which is the gold standard awarded to organisations providing the highest quality gastrointestinal endoscopy services – so if you join with us you can be confident you will be part of something excellent.

Successful applicants will be expected to support the team with ward care for pre- and post-procedure care. You will be working within the theatre environment & Recovery. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of flexible endoscopes.
