Summary

Acorn by Synergie is searching for a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR Advisor to join our client, a manufacturing business based in Rossendale.

Reporting to the Head of People Services and working alongside an existing small team, the purpose of the role is to build a proactive People Services function that supports the wider teams and adds value to the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

* Provide advice to business leaders on topics including employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management and learning and development.

* Implement policies and procedures and train business leaders on the policies to ensure a good understanding and consistent implementation.

* Manager the recruitment process from vacancy approval to the onboarding and induction process for new starters.

* Handle employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management.

* Keep up to date with HR trends and employment law.

* Manage people related projects and initiatives aligned to the business strategy including engagement initiatives.

* Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and documentation.

It is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience working within a HR Advisor role with a solid understanding of HR best practices. It is important to be able to build rapport and trust with managers and employees at all levels.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday.

Salary is negotiable depending on the level of knowledge and experience to offer.
