Summary
A Behaviour Support Specialist is required to join our team. The Behaviour Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their goals, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Working with your student on a 1:1 basis either in their home or a suitable venue

Delivering 2-5 sessions per week - each centred around the needs, specific requirements and interests of your student.

Each session will last between 3-6 hours and will take place between 9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. (Days and times are arranged with yourself before placements start) - so work around a timetable to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify triggers and develop effective behaviour intervention plans to support the student's learning.

Implement behaviour support strategies, including positive behaviour supports and crisis intervention techniques to enable the student to enjoy their learning journey with you.

Collaborate with individuals, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement personalised behaviour support plans.

Qualifications:

Previous experience or knowledge of behaviour support or a related field working with vulnerable children or young people with additional needs.
