LTF Recruitment are currently collaborating with a Primary school based in Mitcham. We are looking for an experienced individual to join a positive working environment where providing care and appropriate teaching assistance for young children is the core goal.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties will be:
- Assist children in Year 2-4 Classrooms and provide 1:1 assistance to students who require additional help.
- Work alongside the classroom teacher and promote a positive learning environment that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.
- Help prepare and deliver lesson material.
- Build relationships with children's parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student's progress.
- Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.
About you:
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Level 3 TA qualifications or equivalent desirable.
- Enhanced DBS and two references.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.
