JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated, high performing Sales Executive to work as a team player in our growing sales team on our department where we publish and distribute branded home improvement guidance to promote the building control services and raise awareness of building regulations to homeowners. We have a long 30+ year track record of providing these services to local authorities with ambitions to improve and expand upon our services offered.

A strong communicator capable of gaining the attention of busy decision makers, an individual who can accentuate the features and benefits of our products and ultimately recognise clear buying signals with a view to closing deals.

We set our team up for success by fully investing in them with product sales training and mentoring to suit their needs. We believe in a happy and motivated workforce and we strive to create a high energy, very inspiring and highly rewarding environment.

Working as part of a larger team you will be provided with access to our online call system (Aircall) and Customer Relationship Management system (Hubspot)

TRAINING
You will be provided with:

Full product training with access to all our training materials and manuals.
Consultative sales training with access to our scripts and cold call approaches.
CRM and Call system training with access to all reference materials which includes instructional videos.
A working support liaison, who will be on hand to help with any questions to help you maximise your time and generate a strong sales return to drive your earning potential.
Access to our intranet system.
Teams access for daily updates and weekly incentives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research, develop and qualify leads to populate sales funnel
Qualify and deliver a high volume of prospects through cold calling
Create accurate client information onto our CRM system.
Maintain clear notes and ensure details are updated regularly.
Work closely with the sales team leader to forecast and clearly communicate your progress on a weekly and monthly basis.
Proactively optimise your pipeline to ensure you hit individual revenue targets
Manage your pipeline in order to maximise conversion and client interaction rates.
Sales

Engage customers in conversation.
Build rapport and trust with your prospects
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Pitch and negotiate advertising packages to suit potential clients.
Ensure both written and verbal communication is clear and effective.
Deliver several pitches during each working day clearly and concisely.
Cover objections and close the sale in the same conversation, where possible.
Answer customers' questions on the products.
Listen to the customers' needs to generate repeat sales.
As a member of the sales team:

Be able to provide clear communication to you line manager.
Have the ability to handle rejection and remain positive in all situations.
Always treat your colleagues with respect
Raise any working concerns with your direct line manager.
Remain professional at all times.
EXPERIENCE

A proven track record in a high volume telesales/cold calling role
A natural communicator and team player with strong literacy and numeracy skills
Organised and capable of completing detail accurately.
Be tenacious and highly motivated self-starter
Positive attitude
Desirable:

Experience working with a CRM system
Media sales experience
Educated up to degree level
