Summary
Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Procurement Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details regarding this position.
ROLE: Procurement Lawyer
LOCATION: South London
RATE: £45.00 to £50.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension, 36 hours per week
Please note that this role would include 1 day per week office attendance.
The Role
- To manage a full caseload of procurement law matters through to completion
- Dealing with Commercial contracts, procurement, Production and distribution, data and information management, IT, Technology, Construction, Intellectual Property, Public Law, Grants
- To supervise a small and junior team
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 12 months PQE
- Previous experienced of dealing with IT Procurement would be highly desirable
- Local authority working experience would be highly beneficial
