Your responsibilities in this role, please apply if you satisfy most of the following:

Working within our Support Engineering department, you will work alongside a dedicated team providing Technical Support to the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF)

  • Reports to Royal Netherlands Air Force C-130 Engineering Support Group (RCESG) Manager
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice on matters relating to the production and provision of technical diagrams (illustrations and graphics)
  • Ensure publication schedules are adhered to and met.
    Understand the routes to escalate issues and identify risks to task completion.
  • Prepare and manage the quality of work within timescale and quality parameters, to ensure that it meets with customer requirements.
  • Support the RCESG team and wider organisation in related technical support tasks.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of Adobe FrameMaker is essential.
  • A competent working knowledge of PTC IsoDraw, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A good working knowledge of the aerospace industry standards / specifications, S1000D, ATA100 and iSpec 2200 is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering project life cycle structures and processes are desirable, together with a requirement to respond to technical queries from customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, process descriptions, procedure manuals and related technical documentation.
