Summary
Job Duties:
To manage, plan, organise daily work for staff, co-ordinating work, deliveries, working closely with Director, dealing with customers, complaint handling, problem solving, staff supervision, assisting Director in running the store in an efficient manner. Inspecting, implementing and supervising health and safety procedures on shop floor. Daily Account reconciliation and reporting to Director. Where necessary, supporting Customer Service Managers with staff supervision and assisting them during busy periods and during their absence. Must comply and ensure all managers and store staff follow health and safety regulation, carry out risk assessment, be vigilant of any hazards for customers and staff, in particular, ensuring all floor areas and shelves are safe and attend food health and safety training as required. Will be responsible for all managers and Store Assistants, including carrying out performance reviews and work closely with the Director and other Managers.
Skills and Experience required:
Applicants must have the required skills and experience working as a Store Manager in Food retail/wholesale with good knowledge of a good range of foods and products, negotiating with suppliers and staff supervision and excellent customer services.
Candidates must be well organised, be able to prioritise and have a minimum of 3-4 years of solid previous work experience to be able to work in a busy environment.
