The Role

To support the growth objectives within our corporate business we are looking for proactive sales and relationship focused individual to join our growing central sales team. A driven self-starter, the National Account Manager will drive revenue and maximise market share through a designated account portfolio, and through the identification and conversion of new business opportunities. Through a data lead approach, this individual will engage in proactive sales activities aimed at achieving defined revenue and market share objectives across all hotels across the Clermont Hotel Group portfolio.

Key aspects of the role:

● Manage and grow revenue and market share through a designated portfolio of accounts
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic corporate clients
● Identify and secure new revenue opportunities within the corporate market through analysis of market data and database mining
● Negotiate contracts and rate agreements with key accounts aimed at mutual satisfaction and long-term collaboration
● Prospect and develop new partnerships with UK based Travel Management companies and Consortia not currently partnered with Clermont Hotel Group
● Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and presentations to showcase the various products available across the hotels
● Organise and execute familiarisation trips and site visits to bring the meetings events and group products to life in the eyes of the targeted buyers
● Attend industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to promote the Clermont Hotel Group and foster new business relationships
● Assist Key Account Directors with development, implementation, and execution of business development strategies within the corporate market
● Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, industry data and market trends whilst regularly and consistently reporting to key stakeholders
● Create, own, and execute strategic account development plans (ADP's) aligned to the business and individual hotel sales strategies
● Support the overall Clermont Hotel Corporate and GDS Sales strategy
● Continuously identify new business opportunities within both potential new and existing account portfolio including for meetings events and groups
● Have a deep understanding of how the clients are structured to drive activity through the points of influence across all levels
● Complete reporting on both account and market performance with both a retrospective viewpoint and future projections
● Utilise Salesforce to enrich client specific data to build a deep understanding of the accounts, the opportunities that exist and to share key information with the hotels
● Support brand education and awareness plans to maximise revenue opportunities

What we look for

● Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the hospitality industry
● Self-motivated, proactive and target orientated with the ability to work both independently and as part of team
● Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple clients
● Experience and knowledge across global distribution systems
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
● Proficient in data interpretation and the ability to use data to define objectives and subsequent activities
● Strong understanding of customer needs
