Summary
CCTV Operator - NML
Mitie has a great opportunity for an experienced CCTV Operator in Manchester City Centre. You will be contracted to 42 hours a week with a pay rate of £12.00 per hour. You will report to the sites Security Operations Manager and Supervisor. The shift pattern is 4 nights on, 4 nights off.

Main Duties
-Operate all CCTV equipment in accordance with Mitie and MCC codes of practice, all Legal requirements in relation to GDPR, RIPA and current Government and Security Industry legislation.
-Use radios, and telephones to provide pro-active and reactive monitoring of CCTV cameras to assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder, and the fear of crime.
-Report to the Security Shift Manager - record, report and escalate all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate
-The CCTV Operator will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers.
-The CCTV Operator will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
-The CCTV Operator should be able to work on own initiative.
-Excellent communication skills is essential (written and verbal).
-Previous security experience is preferred but not essential.
-Flexible approach to work to suit the business needs.
-Calm under pressure.
-Understand the Health and Safety at Work Act, relevant Criminal, Civil Law and Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

-SIA CCTV License
