As a part of our global initiative to enhance care standards and elevate the quality of life for dialysis patients worldwide, we operate independently under a nurse-led model, collaborating closely with the NHS to ensure top-tier care delivery within cutting-edge clinic environments equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Role Overview

The role of Charge Nurse entails spearheading a team of nurses and support staff to uphold exemplary standards of personalised patient care, while also overseeing the coordination of clinical, administrative, and operational functions. Fostering a culture centred on "Community First, Company Second," the Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in nurturing a conducive work environment that fosters team satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Assume overall leadership and operational oversight of the clinic.
• Ensure a seamless patient experience and a welcoming atmosphere at all client touchpoints.
• Collaborate with external entities such as NHS Trusts or the CQC, under the guidance of the Regional Manager.
• Drive quality enhancement initiatives by implementing new processes within the clinic.
• Facilitate effective onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the wider team.
• Cultivate positive relationships with patients and address any grievances as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with pertinent clinical, governance, and regulatory frameworks and policies, including KLoE.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to timely submission of reports.

Person Specification

• Registered Manager status with the Care Quality Commission, or a readiness to obtain such accreditation.
• Full NMC registration along with requisite nursing qualifications.
• Prior experience in clinical leadership within an outpatient haemodialysis environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming disposition to effectively engage with a diverse team and patient demographic.
• Exemplary leadership style that sets a precedent for a value-driven culture aimed at optimising team performance.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to managing dynamic clinical settings.
• Exceptional organisational acumen to handle diverse tasks associated with clinic operations.
• Demonstrable commitment to Continued Professional Development, preferably within Renal Care.
