Summary

Teaching Personnel are looking for a resilient, passionate Teaching Assistant to support fantastic SEN Schools in and around Leeds (LS10). The successful candidate will be supporting children aged with needs including but not limited to: ASC, ADHD, PMLD, behavioural challenges.

Main Duties:
- To be responsible for the safety of children by exercising adequate support and supervision
- Support the Class Teacher with resources and general classroom activities
- Record pupil progress and behaviour
- Enhance the social, emotional and mental health of children
- Provide personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)

Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
- Minimum of three months UK residency
- We do not accept those on skilled worker/sponsored visas
- Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
